The Porcelain Veneers Procedure
The porcelain veneers procedure at Mohr Exceptional Dentistry is completed in only two visits. During the first visit, the doctor will examine and prepare your teeth to receive the porcelain veneers by removing a small portion of the tooth’s surface; nervous patients may choose to utilize the sedation dentistry options available at our practice to make this process a smoother one. An impression of your mouth is then taken and sent to a lab where your new veneers will be fabricated in accordance with your vision of how you'd like your smile to appear. While your long-term veneers are being crafted and color-matched to blend indistinguishably with your natural teeth, temporary veneers will be fitted to protect your teeth and allow you to become accustomed to their new shapes.
Once your new porcelain veneers have been prepared, you will return to our Orange County practice near Anaheim Hills and Fullerton for your second visit, during which your new porcelain veneers will be carefully fitted and adjusted by Dr. Mohr and the Mohr Exceptional Dentistry team. When you are completely satisfied with the look and fit of your new veneers, they will be firmly bonded in place and you will leave our office with a brighter, whiter smile.
